200th Post and 2016 To-Do List

I GOT A JOB!

Actually; I received several offers, but I accepted one and respectfully declined the others. I debated working two jobs, but I quickly realized I wouldn't be able to juggle both and art on top of that. Plus; I want time to blog, workout, socialize more and get adequate sleep. I started training on Monday and I really like the people I work with. After my shift this afternoon, I'll have clocked 36 hours this week, which is a bit more than I asked for. The benefits are really good and there's potential raises every 6 months.

I made a list of things I want to conquer this year in 2016. Getting a job to help supplement my income was the first thing I needed to achieve. Time to make shit happen!

The List

  • Get a job
  • Juice and smoothie everyday 
  • Remain stocked up on health products, beauty products, supplements and powders
  • Diffuser and array of essential oils
  • Facebook advertisements
  • Get Microdermabrasion treatments
  • New phone
  • Buy professional drawing table, Prisma colored pencils & paint brushes.
  • New Vitamix blender
  • Go on dates
  • Lose virginity
  • Pay mom back
  • Buy DSLR camera
  • Buy lighting equipment
  • Buy iMac
  • Create YouTube channel
  • Get a colonic
  • Get acupuncture treatments
  • Get 'Pray' tattooed on bicep
  • Find print store for artwork
  • Acquire passport
  • Bulk up to 160 pounds

    I see too much buying and less investing. While you're young, start investing.

      You have to spend money to make money. Almost everything on the list is there to enhance my health, my art business and my life. I will be doing a lot of spending this year to obtain the things necessary to catapult me to the next level...and than I'll be saving and investing from there on out. I appreciate the feedback!

    a lot of that list is Buy Buy Buy....first thing to do is wipe out all that Debt to Mom, then save save save. Congrats on the job.
