SPRING BREAK MADNESS!

Coming home to SoFlo definitely has its perks, especially for Spring Break! The weather is a consistent 78 and sunny, just the way I like it!

The second night, I went to a party for my neighbor’s 60th birthday. I was feeling good after a couple rum and cokes. I got to catch up with people I hadn’t seen in years and everyone was so surprised by how much I had grown up. Ha There was also a DJ set up on the back porch and everyone was pretty drunk as the night progressed.

The next day I hung out with one of my sister’s really close childhood friends. Her and her boyfriend recently bought a house next to the beach in Delray, so I drove up and helped her paint the front porch all afternoon. I also came out to her! I have known her since I was born so she’s practically a big sister to me. She wasn’t shocked with the news and she told me she always knew I was gay. She was so supportive of it and everything was the same after that. We just kept on laughing about past times and it felt so good to get that off my chest.

One afternoon I went to a park with Patty and Julia to smoke hookah and play with pastels.

Another night Michelle and I got blazed in a retirement neighborhood and than drove down to Ft. Lauderdale and saw Rebelution!

I spent a lot of time hanging out with Patty. I have known this betch since 4th grade, after her family moved into the neighborhood. We had the same 4th grade class, rode our bikes to school together and we would play in the neighborhood together all the time. In 5th grade, out of all the safety patrols in our grade, the two of us got the same patrol station. Haha it was legit. After 4th grade, we never had another class together until drivers ed in 10th grade, but we always had each other’s backs.

Anyways, back to my spring break story. She would get off work at midnight almost every night and we would meet up at my house and hot box my car. I have never laughed so much in my life. We we’re reminiscing stories from our 12 year friendship and some of the shit was so funny. #TeamAries

Then there was St. Patrick’s Day! Ohh my God, what a night. Patty and I went to Mizner, programed in my car with a bottle of wine and saw so many familiar faces throughout the night.

I sold my first drawing the last day of my spring break as well!!! Ahh I was so excited!

So that was my Spring Break 2011 in a nutshell. It was so much fun and I enjoyed every second of it!

As a going back to school gift, Patty drew me a piece of art! I'm in love!! And look how tan I got! Ha

  1. Matthew- Wow what a sincere response! Thank you so much, I am so happy you love my blog! It means alot to get positive feedback like that. You found my blog after putting 'sweet and romantic guys' in the search engine? Interesting. I mean I guess I'm a sweet guy(most of the time) lol but not really sure if the romantic aspect is there. Never been in a relationship before.
That's so cool how you read all my posts in one day. How long did that take you?? haha
You seem like a genuine guy as well! I most definitly want a monogomous relationship. I don't really see the point in dating someone unless you feel like that person could potentially be someone you could spend the rest of you're life with. Isn't that what a relationship is for?
Ahh thank you, I also hope I find the man of my dreams. Too bad Cam Gigandet is straight lol jk
I am sure you will have no trouble finding a significant other as well. Everything you wrote from the snuggling to the nurturing while sick is so romantic. People will notice that sort of kindness and how you enjoy making other people feel happy.
Thanks I hope you have a great night/day tommorow as well. I am in the U.S. as well. Florida to be specific :)

    Take care

  3. AGD: Art really is your thing, it could be a nice side business to your advertising degree. I hope you are thinking a little about starting to date. I can't imagine you turning down guys when you are such a catch.
